2013 XIII Triumvirat - Grande Cuvee Brut | Raumland

A cuvée that stands like no other sparkling wine for Raumland's passion, uncompromising attitude and craftsmanship. No triumvirate is the same as its predecessor but should consciously and individually show the peculiarities and the qualitative top of each vintage. However, the three classic grape varieties Pinot Noir, Meunier and Chardonnay, which our XII. Make up the triumvirate. Complex and yet harmonious with the finest perlage. Wonderful brioche and nut notes from the 100-month yeast storage in the sparkling wine cellar.

2013 was characterized by cool weather with little sun. In southern Wonnegau, we were spared heavy rainfall thanks to the protection of the Donnersberg. We were surprised by a golden September with late ripening of the grapes. A combination of careful teamwork in the vineyard, the power of old vines, the favorable weather in southern Wonnegau, and a handful of luck allow us to summarize: we are incredibly proud of the result of the 2013 vintage, which can be felt and tasted today in our Réserve sparkling wines . With good reason we have now waited more than 8 years to be able to present these sparkling wines at their peak. When tasting it becomes clear: these sparkling wines will be able to mature for many more years.
