Vineyard

The Hubacker is 1 km north of Dalsheim. The almost 23 hectare vineyard is located in the Dalsheim district, in the municipality of Flörsheim-Dalsheim. A six-meter-high natural stone tower made of limestone rock marks the fillet of the site: the "Upper" Hubacker. The name of the site goes back to the Dalsheimer Seelenbuch of 1490, in which "five hooves" are reported. A Huffe (later: Hube) was the name for a piece of land of a certain size at the time. 95% of the 4 hectare, 25-30% south-easterly sloping slope is planted with Riesling. The skeletal soil is characterized by clay marl and limestone.
