Vineyard

The steep slope exposed to the south is located in a basin of the Steigerwald, 280 m at the foot and 380 m above sea level on the upper slope. Above the vineyards there is a forest belt that protects the location from cold north and east winds. There are optimal micro-climatic conditions in this location, the gradient of which is between 20 and 60%. The gray-brown Keuperboden radiates enormous heat and releases unexpected, wild smells. The wines get their high extract and mineral flavor from a unique sediment of green reed sandstone. The wines are considered to be particularly long-lived.
