The grapes are partly destemmed and fermented in open containers. The aging took place in barriques, in old barrels from the Ahr Weingut Stodden. Sebastian produces two qualities, the Pinot Noir and a denser and fragrant version as Pinot Noir.

The vines from this plot of the Zeltingen sundial are over 110 years old and lie between rocky outcrops and the Moselle. The wild yeasts made it up to 12% vol, leaving a touch of fruit and juiciness with fullness, density and slate minerality.
