In 1479 it can be seen from a certificate, an interest register, that Peter Nelles, the leaseholder of a "wyngartz an der buysch portzen", paid an unusually high interest rate to the lord of the Landskrone Castle - this vineyard on the Landskrone was and is then still an excellent vineyard today. To this day he has lost none of his goodness. For a long time, the estate has been breaking new ground in vine growing and wine making. The experience that was gained, combined with modern knowledge and a large portion of idealism and passion, became the guideline for action in this house. The result of the work in the vineyard are brilliant Pinot Noir, silky and soft, with an elegant fragrance or powerful, full-bodied wines with ripe tannins.
