3 hectare Wachenheim top location made of red and yellow sandstone, which was first mentioned in 1429. The name of the location goes back to the owner named Grympel in the 15th century. The junk enjoys the advantage of more frequent hair-dryer-like heating, which promotes rapid drying of the grapes after rain and thus prevents fungal infestation. This location is therefore characterized by healthy grapes even when harvested later.
