Vineyard

The "Schlossberg" with the Lichteneck castle ruins is one of the most distinctive vineyards in Breisgau and has been used for viticulture since 1492, according to scientific findings. It is a steep slope, which requires pure handwork and whose skeleton-rich soil is made of light yellowish shell limestone. Geologically extremely rare within the Black Forest foothills zone. The centerpiece is oriented from south to southwest. The location in Baden is considered an absolute top location for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
