Fritz Haag

Oliver Haag: Riesling, steep slope, handcrafted. This is what our winery has been about for generations. The focus is on our VDP.GROSSEN LAGEN®: JUFFER and JUFFER SONNENUHR. Both are pure southern slate sites and located directly on the banks of the Moselle. Thanks to their unique microclimate, they give us great Rieslings year after year that are unmistakable worldwide. A good wine is first and foremost made in the vineyard. That's why we put all our energy into caring for our slate slopes and into selective hand-picking. What is particularly important to us is very natural and sustainable management. This is the foundation for our distinctive and elegant Rieslings. (Source: VDP.de)

The estate is located in the village of Brauneberg, and its vineyards are situated on the steep, slate-rich slopes of the region.
