A distinctive head with refined reduction meets wild forest life.
The Kaiser has once again equipped itself with its typical and unique reduction note, reminiscent of mushrooms, leather, and autumn leaves, in the 2022 vintage. However, aromas of cherry and red currant are also present on the nose, accompanied by delicately spicy licorice and sweet notes.
On the palate, pungent acidity and finely meshed tannins create a hauntingly elegant arc through recurring aromas of red fruits. This mysterious wine is not entirely tangible, but anyone who encounters it cannot help but want to get closer to its essence.
The "Kaiser" vineyard is approximately 0.3 hectares in size, lies directly below the forest and is therefore somewhat cooler and more exposed to the wind. In this area, we find the best Pinot Grigio parcels on the Lämmler.
