VDP.ERSTE LAGE: 2020 Traisen Rotenfels Riesling | dry
The most important individual vineyard for Crusius in terms of area (VDP.ERSTE LAGE®) with steep southern slopes delivers top wines that almost give the feeling of biting into the Riesling grape with every sip. The easily warmed porphyry weathered soils shine with wines that have a wonderful finesse, enormous amounts of citrus and peach fruit and a perfectly integrated acidity. The minerality creates a wine full of character that guarantees enjoyment for years to come. We recommend it with white meat such as veal or pork, tender roast beef, rabbit or poultry, i.e. wherever a great dish requires a strong, fruity Riesling for the perfect balance.
