VDP.GROSSE LAGE: 2020 Schlossböckelheimer KUPFERGRUBE Riesling Grosses Gewächs | dry
This VDP.GROSSE LAGE® with its terraced vineyards is spectacularly located below a massive volcanic rock face directly on the Nahe. The site faces south to southwest, slopes 30 to 70 percent, and warms rapidly with mineral, dark, weathered volcanic soils with high fine soil and rock content. The soils are loose and highly permeable, which can lead to drought in dry summers. The vineyards are at 120 to 250 meters. We only grow Riesling here.
