2019 LÄMMLER Lemberger GG
On the nose the wine has strong aromas of blackcurrants, blackberries and blueberries. The combination of new and used wood has a very harmonious effect on the delicate tannin structure. In its entirety, the result is a very complex wine with many taste attributes.
Viticulture has been practiced at the foot of the Kappelberg since 1132, with the Fellbacher Lämmler site being the centerpiece. Due to the thermal air currents in the Stuttgart valley basin, the Lämmler heats up strongly during the day, while it cools down considerably at night. Thanks to the light Stubensandstein, we get elegant fresh Rieslings, Sauvignon blancs and Chardonnays from the upper Gewann des Lämmler. Further down, we enjoy the colorful marl, which is ideal for the grape varieties Lemberger, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
