Thomas Harteneck

Thomas Harteneck on his philosophy of producing character-rich wines for people:

We do not produce off-the-shelf wines, but rather expressive natural wines that enjoy drinking. They are varied and lively, delight and surprise, and arouse curiosity. The basis for this is our more than twenty years of experience in the biodynamic economy in viticulture. We work with nature and according to Demeter's strict rules. The wines in the Natural / Orange category are hand-picked and fermented with vineyard-specific yeasts. They are not fined, not filtered and do not contain any sulfur. Only the fermented juice of our grapes is in the bottle. Back to the roots and the natural originality

In the Classic category, the wines are handcrafted just as in the Natural / Orange category. However, they are roughly filtered and contain a very small amount of sulfur. In the PetNat & Crémant category we work according to the ancient "Méthode Ancestral" and the "classic bottle fermentation".

Each bottle is unique and will only be offered for purchase by us after it has matured. We give the wines and cults their time for natural maturation on the yeast so that they can develop their individual character. The expansion takes place in stainless steel tanks or used small wooden barrels, manufactured by the French tonneries Moreau, Frères and Rousseau.

All wines are declared Baden regional wines. Labels The crystallization picture in the middle comes from the juice of a grape berry and makes the high biodynamic quality of our wines visible. The moon depicts its diverse, energetic effects on us humans, plants and animals.

The fingerprint is a symbol of tradition, passion and the uniqueness of my wines. Never the same Everyone is different, everyone is unique, never the same - we all enjoy it! Craftsmanship and soul combine in harmony with nature.
