Fröhlichs have been wine-growing on the Nahe since 1800, today Tim Fröhlich and his family cultivate around 20 hectares. Hand picking and healthy grapes form the basis for top quality. The great steep slopes of Bockenauer Felseneck and Stromberg, Monzinger Halenberg and Frühlingsplätzchen, Schloßböckelheimer Felsenberg and Kupfergrube with their different stone floors form the foundation for distinctive, authentic wines. The symbiosis of ripe Riesling fruit and minerality typical of the area gives these top wines their typical complexity and their own character. Behind the undeniable success is a clear concept of the division of labor: The family keeps Tim Fröhlich's back free so that he can devote his penchant for perfection to the expansion of the wines without distraction.
