There has never been such a Riesling at Raumland! Since 2008 we have been waiting for the right moment to reveal this bang. It is no secret that we are in love with Burgundy and that Riesling is only sparkled in exceptional years. 2008 is such a year! A vintage of the century. In 2008, with our Riesling Grande Réserve, we succeeded in sparkling a Riesling that, with its crystal-clear fruit, firm acidity and minerality - yes, almost salty - shows enormous tension. This sparkling wine is particularly exciting due to the nutty, smoky aromas that the long yeast storage of over 10 years brings with it. It is very complex and long-lasting on the palate, reminiscent of stone fruit with a slight ripeness. This champagne is rumbling! He's for true champagne freaks. (Source: Raumland)
