2021 Thörnich Ritsch Riesling GG | dry
The Thörnicher Ritsch was one of the most respected vineyards on the Moselle until after the Second World War. The name Ritsch derives from the brittle gray slate of the location, rocks slide into the valley again and again. Due to the brittle rocks, no land consolidation with path construction can be carried out in the Ritsch, in the steep terrain the paths would slip. The sticks grow on the slope into small terraces. The vineyard is also in the 1868 classification.
